Everything You Need to Know About Getting Started

Reaching out for support is a big step, and I want it to feel as clear and straightforward as possible. Below are the essential facts about sessions, fees, and insurance.

    • In-Person Sessions: Available for clients in Greenville, SC.

    • Virtual Sessions: Available for clients across South Carolina (perfect for those who want to stay in their PJs on the couch!).

    • Initial "New Client" Appointment: $175

    • Follow-Up Appointments: $150

    • Parent/Caregiver Appointments: $150

    • Session Length: 50 minutes

    • Frequency: Most clients meet weekly, but this can be adjusted (typically 1 to 4 times a month) to fit your goals.

    • In-Network: Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS). I will verify your benefits before we start and bill BCBS directly. You are responsible for any copay, coinsurance, or deductible.

    • Out-of-Network / Self-Pay: If you don't have BCBS, you can pay out-of-pocket. I can provide a Superbill (detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

    • Accepted Payments: All major credit/debit cards, HSA, and FSA cards. Cards are securely stored and automatically processed on the day of your session.

    • Exclusions: I do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.

    • 24-Hour Cancellation: Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed visits are charged the full session fee ($150) because insurance does not pay for missed time.

    • Exceptions: If we can reschedule your session within the same calendar week, the late fee is waived. And of course, I understand serious medical reasons or circumstances outside of your control happen, so these will be taken into consideration.

  • This practice does not provide 24-hour crisis services. If you or your teen are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please contact these resources right away:

    • Emergency: Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room
